Offshore oil Drilling: I have never been convinced it can't be don environmentally, but I would concede that it hasten been, and it is clearly not the long tearm solution. Obama has been consistent in that he is looking for solutions. To say Offshore oil drilling should never be allowed ever for any reason, says we have stop listening to reason. If offshore oil drilling can't be done everomentaly lets talk about why it can't be. In theory I see no reason why we can't do offshore oil drilling, except if it is done only to delay the change in our energy dependences. If it is done as a way to help the transition form oil to other form of energy then why make that transition tuffer then it needs to be.

However, dose Obama truely understand what needs to happen in order to garantee that we don't just shuve the problem under the rug for another 10 years.
